Command Performance for John F. Kennedy in 1962 highlighted father's career. Throughout his childhood, young Danny appeared in television commercials, radio and print advertising. In 1969 he performed in the Broadway musical Mame at the Winter Garden Theatre.

Graduated 1979, but remained affiliated with his entry Class of 1978. During senior year, he was a Saltonstall Award nominee for "most ambitious course of study undertaken by a Harvard undergraduate."
Worked as a copywriter-editor for University Publishing Corporation, 1980-82. Served as managing editor from 1982-86, before becoming the youngest vice president in the firm's history in 1986.
Founded Snow & Associates in 1988, a research firm "dedicated to helping educational, fraternal and professional institutions maintain better information about their alumni, communicate more effectively with them, and relocate those who are lost." S&A became one of the world's first Internet-based research consortia and sponsor of The ARCH Project. Snow was listed in Who's Who in American Education in 1992 as S&A's founder and executive director.
Lived in Las Vegas 1990-93, while beginning a second career as a session vocalist in area recording studios, a singer in nightclubs and show lounges, and as an actor in feature films and network TV.
Returned to NYC in 1993 to study voice at the Vocal Arts Foundation on a full scholarship. In 1997, he left show business to resume a full-time career in publishing. He served as director of communications and planning during the startup of "1stBooks.com," an early e-book publisher. During his tenure, he guided the company in using new (at the time) "Print-on-Demand" book publishing technologies, leading to explosive growth. Snow left 1stBooks when it evolved into a vanity press.
In 1999, he co-authored a book about new publishing technologies with self-publishing guru Dan Poynter, titled U-Publish.com: How 'U' Can Effectively Compete with the Giants of Publishing. The book, now in its fourth edition, is carried by all major booksellers.
Since March 2000, Snow has served as manager of Unlimited Publishing LLC, a high-tech producer of "print on demand" books, specializing in bringing back out-of-print books formerly from major publishers.
In 2002, he published his second book, titled Steal this e-Book!, an irreverent collection of previously published articles and letters about electronic publishing and electronic rights.
From 2002-2008 Snow was widely quoted about new publishing technologies by major news media across the nation, including AP, NPR, UPI, The Los Angeles Times, Publishers Weekly, The Wall Street Journal, the nationally syndicated "Ask Heloise" radio program, VoiceAmerica and many others.
In 2008, Snow was named a senior fellow of The Society for New Communications Research (Palo Alto, California, USA), "a global think tank dedicated to the advanced study of new and emerging media," and their impact on people, businesses and governments around the world.
He has also served as a contributing editor for BookTech: The Magazine for Publishers and as a panelist and moderator at national publishing industry events such as PrintMedia Expos sponsored by the North American Publishing Company, the Publishers Marketing Association's "Publishing University" and others.
Snow is active as an animal advocate in his community, an avid horseman, downhill skier and tennis player. He has served on the board of directors for Windfall Dancers, Inc. and UJ-80, a 501(c)3 public foundation that houses fraternal groups on the campuses of Big Ten universities. His personal interests include wildlife, outdoor sports, gardening, and of course books.
